A Giant's Boot
I emerged from my cozy wool shelter with calm, measured steps. The morning air smelled crisp, so I ventured toward the bright hallway leading to the front door. Near the doormat, I stopped. A towering leather boot stood tall on the polished parquet, looking just like an enormous, impenetrable skyscraper. I approached without haste and pressed both hands against the sturdy brown leather. It did not budge. Tucked beside the laces, I noticed a bright yellow paper luggage tag. With careful balance, I smoothed the tag flat with one claw, admiring how perfectly it framed the boot's grand entrance.
