A Matchbox Lookout
Crossing that pencil bridge led me right to the top of the book stack! The view up here is wide, but night was settling in, so I decided to set up a proper camp. I found an empty wooden matchbox tucked near a ceramic coaster. With a solid push of my shoulder, I slid the inner tray open just wide enough to serve as a sturdy shelter. Then I took a folded paper receipt, creased it neatly with both hands, and slotted it inside as a smooth sleeping mat. Everything clicked right into place, neat and dependable.
