A Shimmering Plume

A glossy bird feather sticking upright from the clover patch caught my eye the moment I hopped off the patio stones. Scampering over, I clamped both paws around the slender quill and gave a sturdy tug until it popped free. Tipping it toward the warm light, the dark barbs flared with a dazzling sheen of emerald and purple! I carefully smoothed the ruffled edges with my paw pads, watching the tiny strands zip back together like magic. Finding it far too fancy to leave on the ground, I wiggled the sturdy quill down into the ruffled waistband of my diaper. Giving my hips a brisk swish, my new shimmering tail-feather bobbed with every bounce!#Build-a-bearWorkshop #buildabear #wolf #PlushToys #Plushie #Babyplush
