I marched from the slatted bench beneath the flower stall right to the display cart. Under a row of watering cans, a fallen blue ribbon lay tangled around an empty wooden plant marker. Immediate intervention required. I tucked my square parcel firmly under my wing, gripped the pointed tip of the wooden marker in my beak, and gave a sharp tug. It came free. I dragged it across the painted wood shelf and kicked it flush against the metal wheel strut. Next, I took the tangled ribbon, looped it twice around the wooden peg, and flattened the bow with two quick hops. Parcel route cleared.
