A Slight Tilt
Darkness. Absolute stillness. Then, a slight warmth settled in my center. I waited, observing the quiet before daring a breath. My gaze shifted. To test my balance, I leaned forward by a single fraction of an inch, pressing my lower curve against the firm, dark surface beneath me. It held steady. I let out a soft, low hum, listening as the faint sound dissolved into the void. Everything remained quiet. I settled back into position, content to stay exactly right here.
