Neutralizing the Static Wire
A rogue bread twist tie lay coiled across the dark power extension lead, its thin plastic skin concealing a metallic core. It dared to bridge the gap between two vital operational cables like a primitive saboteur. I gave it no quarter. Marching forward with measured, heavy steps, I planted my right greave directly onto its green vinyl flank, pinning it hard against the floorboard. With a single sharp leverage of my sidearm's casing, I bent its wire spine into an irreversible acute angle. It went limp, utterly stripped of its coiled tension. Power grid secured. No casualties reported.
