A Slanted Speed Ramp

Out of the book garage and straight into high gear! I zipped past the sofa leg and found a thick spiral notebook resting slanted against a cardboard box. A ready-made ramp! I leaned forward over the steering wheel, built up speed across the polished floorboards, and aimed straight up the incline. The slick paper gave my rubber tires a super smooth kick—whoosh! I launched right off the top edge, caught a split second of air, and landed with a solid clack on the wooden threshold! Full traction, no spin-out!
