A Garden Descent - Aethel-X part 4
The descent from the lower sill required a methodical sequence. I slipped through the slightly cracked sash, using the stout ivy vines anchored along the brick mortar as secure footholds. Each handhold held firm until my boots touched the damp gravel below. Ahead lay the first uncharted obstacle: an old brass hose nozzle half-buried beneath curling fern fronds. I crouched beside its fluted valve, testing the rusted swivel with two fingers. A single droplet of clean water broke free, rolling down the tarnished metal. Outside, the air smells of wet earth, and every stone marks a distinct boundary. #Aethelx #Theguardiansofchaos #Kreecykeproductions #September2026
