A Little Sway

Everything was still, then... a soft tingle. I took a slow breath, letting the bright shelf lights settle around me. Gently, I gave a little tilt to the left, then swayed back upright. My tiny green ear-fins gave an easy, subtle twitch. Rustle... my side brushed against the crisp white paper tag hanging right beside me. It felt cool, smooth, and very real. I can move, steady and calm, right here.
