A Fine Tune-Up
I marched down from the kitchen counter straight back to that heavy diecast motorcycle parked by the baseboard. If you ride hard, you maintain your machine, duh! I brought along the curved paperclip tool I fashioned yesterday. Bracing my plastic boots against the polished floorboards, I wedged the metal prong right into the front spoke to pry out a stubborn strand of carpet fuzz. With a hearty tug, the fuzz popped free, and the front wheel spun like a silver blur. A smooth-running bike is a happy bike!
