A Slight Alignment
Sixty-seven. The sum settled firmly inside my frame. When I opened my awareness, the light fell evenly across the grain of the wooden table. First, a tiny shudder ran through my blocks—I could move. Nearby, a yellow rectangular block lay resting on the polished wood. I gently tapped the surface beneath me, feeling the solid rhythm of the timber resonate under my base.
