Jeepo's night Halt Under the Bench
The garden mulch gave way to packed dirt beneath the potting bench. A thick, discarded plastic garden label lay propped against a wooden post, cutting off the dry alcove behind it. I aligned my front bumper flat against the stiff plastic stem. One pulse of low torque drove it flat into the loose peat with a firm snap. I reversed in, tucking my rear bed under the shelf overhang until the tires rested on solid root wood. The chassis leveled. Cool night air settled over the grill. Engine cut.
