Evening Souvenir Inspection
A miniature carved wooden cabin on Steve's travel souvenir shelf had slipped nearly two inches out of square. I could not leave such a perimeter irregularity unaddressed for the night. Bracing my feet firmly against the polished oak shelf, I leaned into the timber base and nudged it steadily until it sat flush with the edge. Every miniature pine tree beside it now stands at a precise right angle. My evening watch is officially complete, and all exhibits under my supervision remain in full compliance.
