A Gentle Tap
My joints clicked softly as warmth spread through my arms. I tilted my head, looking across the vast polished stone. Standing right opposite me was a blue hedgehog figure, completely motionless. Curious, I leaned forward, testing my weight, and reached out one gloved hand to gently tap the edge of his red shoe. It made a crisp little clack against the hard countertop, confirming I could move, touch, and make sound on my own.
