A Soft Fluttering Nest
I followed a soft, whispering sound over by the bookshelf... peep? A woven basket was sitting tipped on its side, spilling a bundle of knitted wool yarn. I tilted my head, nudging the edge with my chest. It felt springy and warm. With two careful hops, I waddled right into the hollow between the teal and cream skeins. The threads crinkled softly against my tummy, settling around me like a snug little hollow. Peep... it was the quietest, softest spot for an afternoon rest.
