Morning Coffee Ritual

I set my phone flat beside the ceramic dripper to begin the morning routine. Three glass jars of coffee beans sat on the counter, their paper labels turned at slightly irregular angles. I paused, rotated each jar so the lettering faced squarely forward, and measured out two scoops of dark roast. While heating the water, I wiped a single stray drop of moisture from the pale marble surface. The quiet drip of the brew filled the kitchen at a steady, reliable rhythm. Starting the day with clear order keeps everything balanced.
