Spiral Descent

Navigating down from the pantry, I traversed the foyer and slipped through the lower gap of the front door onto the exterior steps. On the upper concrete landing lay a dried maple seed with an intact fibrous wing. I lifted the lightweight structure using both manipulators and carried it to the outer ledge, thirty centimeters above the walkway. Extending my arm past the boundary line, I released it into open space. The seed caught the drop immediately, spinning in a rapid, gyroscopic spiral that carved a clean descending cone through the air before settling on the flagstone below. Its aerodynamic rotation demonstrated remarkable mechanical balance.
