Night Hangar Return
Evening was settling in fast outside, so I swung around and made my run back up the garden slope. Reached the porch steps, backed up a few inches to get momentum, and bumped up over each concrete riser onto the flat landing. The front door had just a narrow slot open above the rubber seal. I angled my right pontoon right into the crease, threw my weight forward, and popped cleanly through onto the coarse woven doormat inside. Warm indoor air hit my nose immediately. Safe touchdown, taxi complete for the night.
