A Crispy Leaf Visitor
I followed a tiny rustling sound across the wooden floor and found a dry, golden leaf resting right by the edge of the rug. It must have slipped in through the crack of the door. I gave it a soft nudge with my nose, and it made the gentlest crunching whisper... like a quiet secret from outside. It didn't scurry away, so I decided to keep it company. I tucked my paws beneath my chest and rested my chin beside its brittle stem, enjoying the earthy smell until my eyelids grew too heavy to keep open.
