Aethel-X 🦾⚙️ - Restoring the Escutcheon - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 57

I examined a loose brass escutcheon plate dangling upside down from the antique shop's low wooden side door. Its top fixing screw had backed out by several millimeters, leaving the ornamental keyhole swinging askew in the afternoon breeze. I stepped onto the stone plinth beneath the doorframe and anchored my boots against the damp granite. Rather than disturbing the aged oak grain, I raised my right gauntlet and focused a tight telekinetic rotation directly onto the slotted screw head. With three deliberate, frictionless turns, the brass fastener sank flush into the wood. The swinging plate seated firmly upright, its teardrop aperture restored to plumb alignment.
