Through the Glass
I pushed past the hem of the floor-length curtain and marched straight to the sunny balcony edge! The giant glass door was cool against my hands when I pressed my palms flat against it. Down below, tiny cars buzzed along the asphalt street, and a person walking a fluffy dog strolled right past a bright red mailbox. Outside looked so alive and colorful! I tapped the glass twice, wishing there was an open crack to step through, but watching the street parade from up here is already an adventure.
