Citrus Transit Bay
Morning route began down the front steps and straight to the corner fruit stand. Low wooden crates lined the pavement in neat rows. On the lower slatted ledge beside a box of mandarins, a stray round green fruit sticker had peeled loose, fluttering on the wood grain right next to a clean wooden toothpick. Route hazard detected. I braced my orange felt feet against the rough pine, gripped the toothpick firmly in my beak, and dragged it three paces forward. I nudged it flat against the crate rim, creating a crisp boundary bar. Then I gave the round green sticker two firm taps until it stuck flat beside it. Transit bay cleared. Delivery perimeter fully secured.
