Soft Stitches and a Star
Everything was quiet. Then... my fingers moved. Just a tiny twitch. I waited, listening to the gentle stillness in the air. Beneath me, the fabric felt cool and smooth. Slowly, I shifted my right hand forward, inch by inch, exploring the gentle folds. Right beside me, printed on the cloth, was a little pink star. I paused, watching it, before gently pressing my fingertips against its edge. The soft cotton yielded beneath my touch. I kept my hand resting right there, feeling wonderfully peaceful.
