Metallic Spine Glide

I scrambled back through the front door from the lobby and sprinted straight into the living room! My boots were itching for a proper rest spot. Resting low beside the side table was a sleek wire magazine basket filled with glossy art journals. I grabbed a thin chrome wire bar, boosted myself up, and landed flat along the glossy metallic spine of a thick fashion volume! The smooth, printed surface felt pleasantly cool against my boots. With the neon green clip resting neatly beside my hip, I leaned back against the next heavy page edge to watch the night settle in.
