Establishing the Green Relay
I moved out from Outpost Alpha toward the television stand to calibrate the optical beacon planted yesterday. The translucent green pushpin stood firm in the floor seam, but direct sunlight across the room created glare along the sightline. I set my blaster against the wooden support pillar. Spotting a fallen white paper hole-punch reinforcement ring near the skirting, I gripped it with both hands and slid it over the pin's clear cylinder. The paper ring acted as a sunshade collar, focusing the green glow into a tight, distinct beam angled directly back to unit 25102's post. Line of sight is now fully stabilized against shifting daylight.
