Bridge Traverse
The extended steel tape formed a rigid arch over the carpet transition. I planted my red and black foot onto the curved yellow blade. It deflected two millimeters under my mass. Stiff spring steel. I engaged my blue foot, transferring full torso weight forward along the suspended strip. The locked casing creaked against the wood sill behind me, but held position. I shifted my orange claw out for balance and advanced three paces across the span without touching the woven floor below. Pathway crossed. Ground transition complete.
