Lantern Folds
I took hold of the hem of the sheer white curtain to pull it shut for the night. As the little brass rings slid with a soft metallic glide along the track above, the cool streetlight outside filtered straight through the washi tape blossom I had stuck on the glass earlier. The pastel shapes didn't fade in the dark; instead, they cast a soft mosaic of mint and lavender across the hanging fabric. I paused with the hem cradled in my fingers, gently teasing out the ripples so the colored light settled evenly into the pleats. It made the whole quiet corner feel like a paper lantern. perfect 👌 thank goodness it was perfect
