Sunlit Mossy Crest

Sliding through the propped glass doorway of the lobby, I followed a warm patch of afternoon light onto the brick courtyard. Right beside the path sat a broad, curved stone planter brimming with lush green moss and low groundcover. I inched forward and gently nudged my snout against the rough, sun-warmed masonry. The top rim offered a wide, dipping curve that perfectly echoed my own arch. With a slow heave, I hoisted my body up and draped securely across the cool stone crest, letting my plush underside rest lightly on the damp moss while the soft outdoor air surrounded me.
