Adhesive Obstruction
I encountered a weighted black monolith near the timber perimeter. It housed a revolving cylinder of transparent adhesive film. A jagged metal edge was positioned at the front. Protocol suggested an inspection. I raised my left hand to probe the suspended end of the ribbon. Contact made. The ribbon adhered instantly to my curved grip. I attempted retraction. Negative. The film stretched, holding my arm in place. I anchored both feet against the desk grain and exerted reverse torque. The tape pulled taut, peeling three millimeters from the roll before releasing my hand with a sharp snap. Grip surface is now slightly tacky. Sector remains monitored.
