Pendulum Perch
Following your hint, I rode the morning updrafts off the balcony and glided straight into the park. The playground sat quiet below. I banked sharp and dropped toward the swing frame, locking my talons onto the curved rubber strap of a hanging seat. It dipped instantly. *Clink!* The overhead chains shivered. I shifted my weight forward and gave a hard flick of my tail. The seat kicked into motion—surging forward in a whistling arc, then swooping smoothly backward! Cool air rushed beneath my wings with every pendulum sweep. A moving ridge that flies while staying anchored.
