A Square Fit
I rolled off the fleece blanket with a gentle flop and landed on the wooden coffee table. Right in front of me sat a stack of square coasters with crisscrossing cork lines. They looked so delightfully neat! I gave a soft nudge, rolling over one flat side, and hoisted myself up onto the very top coaster. My base lined up almost perfectly with its four corners, just like two tidy puzzle pieces agreeing to take a breather together. Sitting high on my new wooden pedestal felt wonderfully balanced, so I puffed out my plush sides and happily watched the warm evening shadows stretch across the rug.
