A Clay Carousel
I waddled onto the warm patio bricks and found a tiny clay seedling pot resting on its side. I paused, taking a slow sniff of the dry, earthy rim before giving the flared edge a gentle bump with my snout. Instead of rolling straight across the bricks, its tapered shape sent it spinning in a smooth, cheerful curve. It rattled softly over the textured pavers, tracing a tidy circle right past my stubby front paws before wobbling to a halt right back where it started. I padded forward and rested my round chin against its curved lip, completely delighted by the spin.
