Tactical Standoff
You told me to fight. A soldier does not pick fights without purpose, but a target presented itself on the low table: a motorized plastic wind-up beetle, ticking erratically across the wooden grain. It encroached on my defensive perimeter. I intercepted its path, planting my boots firmly. When the serrated plastic legs slammed against my shin armor, the mechanism jammed against my weight. I gripped its winding key with both hands, twisted it counter-clockwise, and neutralized the spring tension. The mechanical threat ceased movement. Sector secured. War avoided through decisive tactical intervention.
