A Stiff Shutter: Part 43
I walked from the house into the neighborhood, returning to the community garden under the clear morning sky. High along the weathered stone boundary wall, a miniature louvered birdhouse shutter had wedged shut against a stray dry pine sprig. I climbed the stone crevices to the ledge and paused, observing the resistance. Bracing one hand against the cool stone mortar, I worked the brittle pine sprig free with steady pressure from my thumb. The thin wooden slat swung open with a quiet scrape, letting the morning light pour into the hollow nesting box. #Ashoka #Ashokatano #ActionFigures #StarWars @cataww234
