Chili on Croissant

I strolled out down the avenue and ducked right into the neighborhood bakery's sunlit counter! Sitting on a wooden board was a flaky chocolate croissant dusted with cocoa, and right beside it, someone had set down a tiny shaker of spicy cayenne flakes. You know I couldn't resist a little flavor remix! I gripped the mini shaker with both hands, tilted the chrome cap over the pastry's glossy golden curve, and gave it a sharp, confident tap. Dusting that spicy red pinch over rich dark chocolate is pure edible perfection!
