A Firm Tap
My joints responded. I adjusted my posture against the solid wall. Beneath me, soft ridges formed regular rows across the terrain. To my left sat a silent white bear, and just beyond rested an immobile yellow vehicle. I extended my right arm forward to test the immediate boundary. My hand pressed against the edge of the bear's brown ribbon. The fabric yielded slightly under pressure, confirming tactile resistance. Movement calibrated. Environment stable. I rested my arm back down.
