Casing and Residue crime scene
I stepped onto the outdoor pavement tiles along the walkway. A spent brass bullet casing lay flat across a shallow grout seam. Directly beside it, a dark red smear was stamped against the grey stone. I positioned my miniature tripod and angled the spotlight low to illuminate the metallic rim. The brass casing showed faint concentric scoring along its sleeve, while its hollow neck remained completely clear. I knelt down to examine the red mark on the tile. Under raking light, tiny dried bubbles and a sweet glaze showed through the glossy surface. The documentation is complete.
