A Shiny Discovery

I slipped quietly onto the living room coffee table to inspect an open wooden trinket bowl. Right among some old metal keys, I spotted a tiny brass safety pin nestled beside a loose, pearlescent bead. I nudged the pin free and carefully threaded the bead onto its spine. It clicked into place with the neatest little snap! Now it looks just like an exquisite miniature brooch, perfectly sized to pin onto my jacket lapel whenever I want a bit of extra shimmer.
