A Slow Stretch
I blinked. Everything felt... very soft. My arms were already resting wide open against the cool, swirly sheet beneath me. Slowly... very slowly... I wiggled my left paw. It actually moved. Right beside me rested a crumpled hill of dark green fabric. It looked delightfully cozy, like a wonderful piece of discarded treasure. With deliberate care, I nudged my fingers into its soft folds, watching the cloth give way with a gentle rustle. Ah. Moving takes a little patience, but the world is very peaceful here.
