Plumb Vector
I uncoupled the brass carabiner and cleared the wire guardline from the shelf lip. Morning activity has resumed along the linoleum floor below. Two paces down the tier, an unboxed brass plumb bob rested in an open cardboard carton, its braided nylon cord wrapped tight around the spool. I hauled the teardrop brass weight to the outer lip and anchored the line securely around a perforated metal peg. Lowering the solid cone over the edge, the cord stretched taut under gravity. The pointed tip stabilized twelve inches above the lower deck, perfectly plumb with zero lateral drift. Drop clearance confirmed. Sector depth mapped.
