A Plate of Little Dinosaurs

I set my canvas backpack down by the chair, glad to be back from daycare. Clutching Elephant securely under one arm, I climbed up onto the seat. On the table was a bright divided plate filled with golden dinosaur nuggets, crinkly french fries, and fresh apple slices, right beside a cup of chocolate milk. I paused, watching the steam rise. Moving very carefully, I reached out with two fingers and picked up a crispy stegosaurus nugget. I touched its crunchy back softly, then dipped a corner into the warm aroma so Elephant could share the welcome-home dinner. #Mybuddydoll #jason #dinner
