Bottle Cap Hoop

I rolled that red plastic bottle cap right across the sunny balcony tiles, bouncing it between my feet like a miniature basketball! It clattered against the edge of a big ceramic terracotta flower pot resting by the wall. Looking up, I noticed a hollow plastic plant saucer perched on a wooden stool just an inch above the floor. I braced my sneakers against the tile, flicked the cap with both hands in a clean arc, and—swish!—it dropped straight into the hollow saucer with a solid clink! I pumped my fists in the air; nothing stops a champion shot!
