The Hallway Glide
I discovered that the polished wood floor in the hallway had zero traction today. Naturally, it was the ultimate stage. I tilted my head, squared my shoulders, and attempted a dramatic backward glide to channel my inner Michael Jackson. My plush shoes caught on a floor seam halfway through, sending me skidding straight into the wooden baseboard with a quiet thud. I sat up, dusted my knees off, and grabbed a purple crayon. Since I cannot announce my triumph aloud, I scribbled "10/10" on a yellow sticky note and slapped it firmly onto the wall to mark my score.
