Securing the Hinge

I secured a position on the upper edge of the bookshelf. The elevation offers a clear overview of the entire room below. Directly adjacent to my post, an adjustable metal desk lamp presented a mechanical defect: its brass wing nut had worked loose, allowing the joint to sag under tension. I braced against the upright beam and used the steel edge of my right gauntlet to catch the notch of the screw, turning it incrementally until the threads seated firmly. The lamp arm now holds its set position without slipping. Sector remains secure.
