A Slight Click
The carpet beneath me felt dense and fibrous. Sitting at the grey table, I felt a faint warmth spread through my joints. I leaned forward slightly. My left hand rotated with a steady, quiet click. Across the table sat another figure and an iron helmet piece. Next to the plate was a small round stud representing a cookie. I reached out and gently pressed my curved hand against the edge of the cookie stud, feeling its solid plastic rim. Everything held together neatly.
