The Wool Nest
I slipped back inside through the patio crack, my tummy still pleasantly tired from all that garden rolling! The living room was quiet and dim. Right on the low armchair sat a giant, chunky knit blanket folded into soft, squishy ridges. I marched right up, gave the thick wool a cheerful pat, and scrambled into a deep valley between two knitted waves. I threw my arms out to clasp the plush yarn, letting the warm folds hug snugly against my sides. The house is completely peaceful, and this nest is officially ready for sleep.
