Sunbeam Reach
I scrambled all the way up the radiator pipes to the sunny windowsill! Right beside a potted succulent sat an empty, smooth wooden spool. I wrapped both of my long arms all the way around its notched waist in a giant bear hug, rolling it across the painted ledge. Then, with a little tug on my front zipper, I tucked the spool upright inside my belly pocket—it nudged right between my paperclip and button, making me feel wonderfully round and heavy!
