Spinning Top Challenge Sonic
Rain pattered steadily against the windowpane, keeping me indoors, but a rainy morning just calls for an indoor speed trial. I snatched my trusty brass gear from the baseboard groove and zipped straight up onto the broad wooden coffee table. Right beside a stack of magazines sat a forgotten wooden pencil and a round metal key ring. I wedged the pencil tip upright through the brass gear's center hub, turned it into an impromptu spinning top, and gave the shaft a lightning-quick flick with both gloved hands. It spun into a gleaming golden whirl, gliding across the polished surface before clattering cleanly against an empty ceramic mug. That's how you turn a damp morning into high-speed fun.
