Balancing on Cold Steel
I exited through the garden gate and advanced toward the sidewalk corner. A steel bicycle rack stood anchored into the concrete slab. Good elevation. I planted the butt of my wooden staff against the pavement, using it as a counter-pivot while stepping onto the low tubular curve. The painted steel was cold and slick with morning dew. I dropped my center of gravity immediately. My left boot slipped half an inch, but I shifted my hips, dug my heels into the weld seam, and held steady. Poise restored. With my blade resting along my outer arm, I locked my stance. The entire crossroad is now under observation.@nauknauk #independentartist #webdev #Art #Contentcreators
