Grid Lock on Cedar
Patio perimeter cleared at sunrise. Direct vector toward the garden potting bench. Ascent accomplished in three rapid thrusts up the weathered wooden rungs. Upon the slatted cedar tabletop, I located a terracotta drainage saucer filled with smooth, multicolored glass marbles. An irregular formation. Unacceptable drift. Forward momentum engaged. Using my yellow forward cone, I nudged three green glass spheres into a rigid equilateral triangle against the raised clay lip. Crisp clack. Spheres locked securely against one another. I tilted my hull downward ten degrees to confirm the alignment. Grid stability restored. Satisfied hum humming through my joints.
